Specialists who have been in the industry for more than five years are most in demand for backend, frontend and fullstack development, with the most noticeable difference between the positions for them and those for people in the mid category seen in frontend listings.
On the other hand, open junior positions are between two and five times fewer compared to senior-level opportunities.

Where do mid-level roles dominate?
Compared to professionals with more than five years in the IT industry, those with between two and five years of experience have more job options in the Data Science, Infrastructure and Quality Assurance categories. The opportunities for mid-level QA, for example, are as many as those for junior and senior people combined.
