Senior Front-end Developer

As a Frontend Developer at WPX, you will be joining our development teams to build and enhance web-based applications and working with some of the latest technologies in user interfaces and server architecture. You will collaborate with many project team members (Product Owners, Architects, Engineers, Project Managers, Dev Team, etc.) to enable the development and implementation of the built solutions. Engineers on our team are collaborative in nature, are advocates of by-the-book IT practices, and are open-minded to contrasting views.

What you will do:

* Take full ownership of the front-end development of our Angular-based applications

* Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, back-end engineers, and product managers

** Architect and implement clean, maintainable, and efficient code

* Contribute to system design decisions and front-end architecture improvements

* Optimize front-end performance for speed and scalability

* Integrate front-end interfaces with microservices via REST and/or GraphQL APIs

You absolutely must have:​

* 4+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 2 years in Angular (Angular 10+ preferred

* Strong proficiency in TypeScript, RxJS, and Angular CLI

* Deep understanding of component-driven architecture and state management (e.g. NgRx, Akita)

* Strong knowledge of responsive and accessible design

* Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices

It is advantageous to have:​

* Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker) and Kubernetes

* Experience working with API gateways or BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) layers

* Knowledge of modern build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite)

* Understanding of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and secure authentication flows
