Quality Assurance Tester – Manual

Description

With Intelligence is seeking a motivated Manual Quality Assurance Tester to join our growing tech team. As a Manual Quality Assurance Tester, you will be responsible for working with Developers and Product Owners to verify changes meet specifications. You will collaborate with other QA team members to ensure that our features are tested in a timely manner and raise bug reports for any issues found.

Responsibilities:

• Assess feature specifications to advise on the best test strategy for that feature
• Manually verify features to ensure the developers have made changes according to the specifications
• Raise bug reports for any issues found
• Prepare and maintain manual test scripts for anything that cannot be automated
• Work with the QA Automation Engineers to advise upcoming features to allow them to improve/extend coverage

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Manual Tester
• ISTQB Foundation Level a preference
• Experience in testing modern web applications
• Knowledge of database systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL helpful
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git
• Knowledge of API testing and Postman
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
