Senior DevOps Engineer

The role in a nutshell: 

We are looking for Senior DevOps engineers with experience building and scaling services in a cloud environment to join our DevOps team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Training period on-site for three months
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
• Provides direct and responsive support for urgent analytic needs
• Participates in architecture and software development activities
• Use coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem with custom workflows
• Collaborates with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Advanced experience with Linux and networking is a must
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes/Openshift is a must
• Experience with Golang/Python/Rust and scripting languages
• Advanced experience with AWS/GCP/Azure platform is a must
• Advanced experience with Git, IaC and CI/CD tools is a must
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and good security awareness
• Working knowledge of databases
• Problem-solving attitude
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent experience
