Technical Business Analyst – Maternity Cover 

VSG Bulgaria is an independent technocratic company with over two decades of experience, specializing in providing innovative solutions to the most complex and challenging problems in financial software.

The Business Analyst role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with people across business and technical teams, and turning ideas into real solutions. You’ll gather requirements, define system needs, and support the development process all the way from concept to delivery. Along the way, you’ll make sure our products meet both business goals and customer expectations.

• Fixed-term role covering Maternity Leave
  
• Location: Plovdiv or Veliko Tarnovo
  
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Bulgarian Time)
  

Key Responsibilities

• Work with clients and stakeholders to understand and define requirements.
• Turn business needs into clear documentation and actionable tasks.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and QA to deliver high-quality software.
• Support testing and validate that solutions work as intended.
• Suggest improvements to processes and contribute to user documentation.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Experience as a Business Analyst, QA or similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
• Great communication skills with both technical and non-technical people.
• Fluency in English – written and spoken.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of financial services.

Familiarity with:

• YAML, Postman, Figma, Wireframing (Balsamiq), XML
• Jira and Confluence
