Junior Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems using Java, Node js, Python, PHP, etc.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot any backend issues.
• Work with databases, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices in backend development.
• Work on project(s) with other team members and a mentor
• Ensure formal review and approval process for all deliverables

Requirements:

• Some experience with backend technologies – Java, PHP, Python, C#, Node JS, etc.
• Some understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Some Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with GIT
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with PHP and Laravel
• Experience with CI/CD
• Some experience with deployment
