Mission of the role: Conduct both linear and nonlinear structural analyses utilizing Altair software tools, including HyperMesh, OptiStruct, RADIOSS, and HyperView.

Key Objectives of this Role: 

• Perform linear and nonlinear structural analyses using Altair tools such as HyperMesh, OptiStruct, RADIOSS, and HyperView.
• Develop and refine FE models for components and systems, ensuring accurate representation of geometry, material properties, and boundary conditions.
• Conduct modal, static, dynamic, and fatigue analyses to assess product performance under various loading conditions.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations for structural improvements.
• Support design optimization using topology, size, and shape optimization techniques.
• Validate simulation results against physical test data and iterate models for improved accuracy.
• Document analysis procedures, results, and conclusions in clear, concise technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and engineering best practices.

Qualification, Experience and Skills: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in structural CAE analysis.
• Proficiency in CAE tools like Ansys, Altair HyperWorks suite (HyperMesh, OptiStruct, RADIOSS, HyperView).
• Strong understanding of material mechanics, FEA principles, and structural failure modes.
• Experience with meshing complex geometries, applying loads and constraints, and interpreting results.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
