    Mission of the Role:

    • Customer point of contact for Quality during product development.
    • Provides an independent oversight of all the quality activities performed by the engineering disciplines.
    • Escalate to management non-conformances and ensure that they are followed and resolved within the product development organization.

    Key Objectives of this Role: 

    • Act as Liaison between Customer Quality Representatives and Visteon cross-functional teams, supporting Customer reporting needs and driving Customer Specific requirements compliance based on APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) processes and ASPICE standards.
    • Planned and supported customer project assessment/ audits.
    • Input to project-specific, project management, and development strategies.
    • Ensure the Project Quality of work products and processes.
    • Co-develops customer targets for new programs.
    • Translate Customer Quality Requirements to the project team.
    • Ensure past problem History/Lessons Learned are available.
    • Oversight of APQP by Plant AME (Advanced Manufacturing Engineer)/ Quality and CE (Change Engineer).
    • Oversight of the SCIF (Special Characteristics Identification Form) process.
    • Oversight of the Project management process implementation.
    • Attends Program Core Team meeting.
    • Compile and update a Quality Status Report per project, monthly.
    • Present this report in a monthly “quality-focused” program core team.
    • Manage Project Quality Assurance related RIOs (Risk Issues Opportunities) accordingly.

    Key Performance Indicators:

    • Customer Deliverables submission on time.
    • ASPICE Overall Project Compliance [VPAT% – Visteon Process Appraisal Tool].
    • 100% of Lessons Learned implemented/assessed for new projects.

    Key Year One Deliverables:

    • ASPICE compliance of the allocated projects to at least CL2 (Compliance Level 2).
    • Effective escalations of identified NCs (Non – Non-conformities).

    Qualification, Experience, and Skills:  

    • Qualifications:
      • Degree in Quality Management with Software or Electrical background, or other relevant experience.
      • Automotive SPICE – preferably a certified assessor.
    • Experience:
      • Good understanding of IATF 16949 or at least 4 years in the automotive industry.
    • Skills:
      • Understanding of SDLC and SQA (Software Development Life Cycle and Software Quality Assurance ).
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
      • Fluent English verbal and written communication skills.
      • Ability to lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization to maintain process and product compliance.
      • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
      • Conduction of internal audits and assessments.
