Mission of the Role: Optical Measurement of products (e.g. luminance, color; display characterization for contrast, viewing angle transmission; diffusion; LED performance, camera system MTF,Mura).

Key Objectives of this Role:

• Optical Measurement of products (e.g. luminance, color; display characterization for contrast, viewing angle transmission; diffusion; LED performance, camera system MTF,Mura);
• Manage existing equipment and develop new capabilities;
• Build and measure lighting prototypes and master samples;
• Documentation and reporting of results, recommendations and interpretation;
• Provide optical measurement support for all European, APAC & US programs;
• Develop and Improve Optical Measurement Processes;
• Alignment and track ability of measurement processes to international standards;
• Development of work instructions;
• Develop new metrology methods (e.g. for driver monitoring camera systems);
• Support global alignment on metrology best practice, process and equipment;
• Decision making skills.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

• Science or Engineering Degree or equivalent experience;
• Experience of laboratory management and quality standards;
• Excellent technical report writing skills;
• Experience with demonstrated leadership in a project;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Able to comfortably manage multiple tasks and assignments;
• IT literate including MS Office;
• Fluency in Oral & Written English.
