    Mission of the Role:

    Visteon’s global RISE Program is a unique opportunity designed specifically for recent or soon-to-be Science or Engineering graduates. It serves as a launching pad for your professional journey in the automotive technology field. Our RISE program aims to bridge the gap between your academic life and the professional world by providing you with the necessary resources to enhance your skills and expand your knowledge of the mobility technology industry.

    As a member of our RISE Program, you will undergo a training course led by industry professionals. This training will help you transition smoothly into working alongside highly skilled engineering teams. Additionally, you will have the privilege of being mentored throughout this process.

    By joining our program, you will have the chance to work in our Display Optic and Illumination team and ensure that our products meet the highest automotive standards. This hands-on experience will allow you to contribute to cutting-edge developments in the industry.

    We believe that this program will provide you with a solid foundation to kickstart your professional career in the world of automotive technologies.

    Key Objectives of this Role: 

    • Perform Optical Measurements: Conduct measurements in local labs based on customer specifications.
    • Collaborate with the Engineering Team: Understand and set up specific optical measurement requirements.
    • Evaluate and Report Results: Analyze measurement results and prepare detailed reports.
    • Communicate with Project Teams: Share results with teams across Europe, APAC, and the US.
    • Support Global Alignment: Assist in standardizing best practices, processes, and equipment for optical metrology.

    Key Performance Indicators:

    • On-time Delivery of Reports: Timely submission of optical measurement reports is essential to keep projects on track and maintain customer satisfaction.
    • Quality of Results: High-quality, accurate optical measurement results are vital for making informed decisions and maintaining the integrity of the products.

    Key Year One Deliverables: 

    • Familiarize with Equipment and Procedures: Understanding the local optical measurement equipment and standard procedures will be crucial for accurate and efficient work.
    • Build Collaborative Relationships: Establishing good relationships with team members will enhance teamwork and communication, leading to better project outcomes.
    • Learn Existing Processes and Instructions: Familiarizing yourself with processes and instructions according to IATF 16949 will ensure compliance and quality in your work.

    Qualification, Experience and Skills: 

    • Education: A university degree or current studies in Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
    • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of photometry and colorimetry principles and practices.
    • Report Writing: Strong skills in writing technical reports.
    • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
    • Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments comfortably.
    • Proficiency in MS Office: Including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Language: Fluency in English.
