    Mission of the Role: The Electrical Test Engineer will manage incoming test requests and ensure the timely execution of electrical tests in compliance with OEM standards and Visteon’s Laboratory Management System. The role focuses on delivering accurate and reliable results.

    Key objectives of this Role:

    • Ensure electrical tests are performed according to customer specifications, maintain data integrity, analyze results, and deliver reports to customers on time.
    • Collaborate with the Product Development Engineering team to understand specific test setup requirements.
    • Review test plans and prepare test sheets aligned with test request requirements.
    • Support ISO 17025 accreditation, IATF 16949 certification, and OEM recognition programs.
    • Guarantee the accuracy and validity of data throughout test sequences. Prepare and review test reports to meet customer requirements, providing interim data and final reports on schedule.
    • Develop new tests in compliance with OEM, ISO, and IEC specifications.
    • Expand laboratory capabilities to support emerging technologies and methods.
    • Lead or contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Stay current with test standards and industry practices.
    • Lead or assist in creating and updating local work instructions.
    • Participate in investigating and resolving customer complaints.
    • Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated before use.
    • Work in shifts as needed (two-shift system).

    Key Performance Indicators:  

    • Electrical tests are completed per month.
    • On-time delivery of test reports.
    • Accuracy and compliance with OEM and international standards.

    Key Year One Deliverables:

    • Independently perform electrical tests with minimal supervision.
    • Achieve proficiency in OEM testing requirements and in international standards related to automotive tests.
    • Introduce at least one improvement to the existing work instructions and procedures.

    Qualification, Experience, and Skills:

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
    • Familiarity with general laboratory test equipment, including signal generators and oscilloscopes.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinking.
    • Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on building commitment and enthusiasm to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
    • Proficiency in standard business tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Very good command of English, both written and spoken.

    Reporting Structure: The Electrical Test Engineer will report to the Associate Manager of the Electrical Test Team.
