We’re a growing legal tech startup building tools that simplify and automate complex legal workflows. Our team is international (Bulgaria & France), remote-first, and driven by curiosity, simplicity, and clean engineering.

We are now expanding our platform with AI-powered features (NLP, document analysis, automation workflows), and we’re looking for a talented Back-End Developer with experience in Artificial Intelligence to help us shape the next generation of our product.

What You Will Do:

You will join our core development team and contribute to both backend development and AI components. You will work on prototypes, integration and knowledge transfer to other developers.

Your responsibilities:

Designing and developing robust backend systems using Python (Django or FastAPI).

Building and integrating AI/NLP features into our application (e.g., embeddings, text classification, document parsing, LLM-based tools).

Working with structured and unstructured data.

Writing clean and testable code with solid unit tests.

Collaborating with the team to design scalable architectures and improve performance.

Ensuring reliability, security, and scalability of backend and AI pipelines.

Who You Are:

2+ years of professional experience as a Back-End Developer.

Strong skills in Python and experience with a web framework (Django preferred, FastAPI acceptable).

Experience with AI or machine learning tools

Experience working with APIs, database design, and SQL queries.

Understanding of software engineering principles (architecture, design patterns, testing).

Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.

Fluent in English and Bulgarian.

Bonus Skills:

Experience deploying ML models into production

Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Experience with CI/CD and containerization (Docker)

French speaking

Interest in legal tech or document automation
