Job Responsibilities:

• Build and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Terraform, and Helm.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Support and enhance monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Loki, and Thanos for multi-cluster GKE environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to enable smooth application delivery and deployment.
• Manage and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and scalability.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in infrastructure design and deployment.
• Maintain Docker containerized environments and support the deployment of applications.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Infrastructure Engineer role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (e.g., GKE, GCS, Artifact Registry).
• Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration (Docker, Helm, ArgoCD).
• Solid experience in infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or similar.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Thanos, and Grafana.
• Experience with managing and deploying secure TLS certificates, preferably using Let’s Encrypt.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Understanding of network security, VPNs, and firewalls, with hands-on experience using Fortigate or similar devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with monitoring VM infrastructure and managing Prometheus exporters.
• Familiarity with GitOps workflows (e.g., ArgoCD).
• Experience in managing multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of container registries and Artifact Registries.
• Experience with Kafka monitoring and management.
