Professional Services Consultant – SAP with German

We are seeking a skilled SAP Functional Consultant specializing in Accounts Payable (AP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business processes related to the Accounts Payable module, providing solutions, and ensuring smooth integration with other SAP modules (MM/FI). You will work closely with Solution Architects and cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions, ensuring adherence to business and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the SAP subject matter expert (SME) for Accounts Payable processes, advising on best practices and configurations.
• Design, configure, and implement SAP Accounts Payable solutions that align with business requirements.
• Conduct system analysis and troubleshoot any AP-related issues in SAP.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to optimize AP workflows, integration with other financial modules.
• Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-implementation support for SAP AP functionality.
• Ensure SAP AP module compliance with corporate policies and relevant regulations.
• Coordinate and guide the technical team for SAP system customizations (enhancements, reports, and interfaces) as needed.
• Write specifications that can be used to guide the development of customisations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of [5] years of hands-on experience in SAP with a focus on Accounts Payable.
• Strong knowledge of SAP FI (Financial Accounting) module and its integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD).
• Proven experience with full lifecycle implementations and post-go-live support.
• Excellent understanding of financial processes and best practices related to Accounts Payable.
• Experience in system configuration and the ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Ability to create specifications that can be used to guide developers who build customizations
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English language
• Familiarity (not necessarily fluent) in either French or German language

Preferred

• Experience in SAP R/3 ECC and S/4HANA.
• Certification in SAP FI/MM modules.
• Prior experience in a consulting role or working with large-scale SAP implementations.
