We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to help drive Tradu’s automation-first testing culture. This is a hands-on technical role in fintech, requiring deep expertise in building automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality releases.
This is an opportunity to join our team and play a pivotal role in building a brand-new automation platform from the ground up. You will lead a design and implementation of automated tests across UI, API, and backend systems, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Primary responsibilities (not limited to)
Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing
Develop and maintain automated test suites for functional, non-functional, regression, and integration domains
Collaborate with developers to embed testing early (shift-left)
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with DevOps and engineering teams
Debug, analyze, and triage automation failures, providing clear feedback to development teams
Contribute to QA standards, best practices, and continuous improvement of automation processes
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on software testing experience, with strong focus on test automation.
FinTech, banking, or financial services industry experience
Proven experience designing and implementing automation frameworks
Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JMeter, or similar
Strong expertise in automated API, integration, and microservices/distributed systems testing
Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and defect management
Solid programming skills in languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Preferred
Security and performance testing for financial applications and high-volume transaction systems
Interest in AI-powered testing tools and modern QA innovation
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
Working Hours: 40/week, Monday–Friday. Hybrid: 3 days in-office.
