🌍About the Role

We are collaborating with a global technology leader to find a Senior PHP/Symfony Developer for their IT Development Team, focusing on Back-End and Integrations.

This is a high-impact role where you will develop and optimize enterprise data platforms based on Pimcore, which power global digital ecosystems.  If you have a strong background in PHP, Symfony, and API development, and are passionate about structured data, scalability, and system integrations, this opportunity will allow you to master Pimcore—one of the most powerful open-source digital platforms for Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), and Content Management System (CMS) solutions.

Your Role

• Develop and customize Pimcore applications with a focus on PIM functionalities (data modeling, schemas, structures, asset renditions).
• Design and maintain integrations with internal and third-party systems.
• Optimize performance for large product catalogs and high-traffic environments using caching, indexing, and asynchronous processing.
• Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and review processes.
• Provide L2/L3 application support and manage requests via a ticketing system.
• Collaborate with international key users and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Requirements

Proven hands-on experience with Pimcore implementations, especially across PIM (mandatory).

Solid PHP and Symfony development skills; deep understanding of OOP and design patterns.

Experience with MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.

Practical knowledge of Workflows, Object Bricks, and Classification Store.

Familiarity with REST / GraphQL APIs, JSON, and version control systems (Git or similar).

Understanding of Agile/Scrum and DevOps principles.

Strong English communication skills – both written and spoken.

Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with DAM or CMS modules in Pimcore.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Interest in automation, data governance, and large-scale integrations.
