• Apply regular system updates and security patches
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues and performance bottlenecks
• Assist in the administration of LDAP and Samba services
• Support mail infrastructure (Postfix, Courier IMAP, Amavis)
• Manage VPNs (IPsec/OpenVPN), firewalls, routing, and advanced iptables rules
• Participate in automating repetitive tasks and improving internal tools (e.g., scripting system checks, backups, and deployments)
• Constantly seek ways to improve infrastructure performance, security, and user experience
What You Bring
• Solid foundational knowledge of networking principles: VLANs, Layer 2/3 switching, and routing
• Experience administering Linux systems, ideally Red Hat–based (CentOS, AlmaLinux); Debian-based familiarity is a plus
• Basic scripting skills in Bash; exposure to Python or Perl is a bonus
• Familiarity with core infrastructure services such as LDAP, Samba, and mail servers
• Understanding of secure connectivity tools (Citrix, RDP, OpenVPN, iptables)
• Exposure to virtualization platforms (e.g., Proxmox, VMware) is a plus
• Good command of English; French is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in a Linux user support or system administration role
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
• Enthusiasm for automation and system optimization
• Curiosity and drive to explore, test, and learn new technologies
• A proactive attitude — not just fixing issues but improving how others work
