Senior Security Architect

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Network Security Architect to join our dynamic Information Security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the security of our network infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of network security principles and a proactive approach to safeguarding our organization’s data and systems against cyber threats.

Technical Skills:

• Expert Network security architectural knowledge and experience for designing security architectures and connectivity matrices.
• Expert project management skills including experience with leading security into CI/CD and containerized environments.
• Understanding of security zoning models for both on-premises infrastructure and Kubernetes/container environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Network security protocols and technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, DLP).
• Experience of Containers /Kubernetes/, CI/CD principles / GitOps, Jenkins/, IaC -Terraform
• Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS)
• Vulnerability Management expertise is an advantage
• Cloud expertise is an advantage
• Telco expertise is an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining security architectures and connectivity matrices.
• Designing secure environments for on-prem and Kubernetes-based infrastructures.
• Managing security projects and coordinating across teams to implement security improvements.
• Collaborating with teams to implement and refine security zoning models.
• Overseeing SIEM integration and monitoring tools for enhanced threat detection.
• Leading projects to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security, with at least 2 years in a network architect or security architect role.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
