Senior Automation Engineer

Our client — a global technology company operating in over 60 countries.

The company delivers industry-leading solutions in digital transformation, engineering, cloud, and AI, working with clients across major sectors including Financial Services, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Technology, Telecom, Retail, and Public Services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend solutions built primarily with TypeScript and object-oriented JavaScript, supporting large-scale data center environments (millions of virtual machines).

• Utilize Ansible, Bash, and PowerShell for Linux and Windows OS-level configuration.

• Apply Infrastructure as Code principles to engineer CI/CD pipelines, automated workflows, and “as-a-service” solutions (e.g., Load Balancer as a Service, Database as a Service).

• Act as a technical consultant, collaborating with architects, developers, DevOps, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, well-documented, and tested solutions.

• Participate in pre-sales discussions, providing technical insights and advice to customers.

• Conduct technical interviews and mentor junior engineers when needed.

Requirements

• Strong experience with two or more of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Node.js, C#, Python, Go, Angular, React

• Experience with one or more database technologies: Oracle, Microsoft SQL, MySQL, NoSQL

• Experience with Message Queues and Service Brokers

• Knowledge of External Storages (SAN, NAS, LUNs)

• Hands-on experience with Linux (bash) and Windows (PowerShell, cmd)

• Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP, RPC)

• Senior-to-Lead level experience in software engineering and customer-facing consulting

• Experience with enterprise systems integration and web services

• Deep knowledge in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps (CI/CD), Ansible, Linux, Networking & Security

• Exposure to VMware products and APIs is a plus

• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes is an advantage

• Fluent English (spoken and written)

• Willingness to travel occasionally and undergo standard security checks
