SAP APPLICATION SPECIALIST BI

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Application Specialist Business Intelligence to join our client’s international team. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting data from sources such as SAP ERP, S/4 HANA, MS Dynamics Navision, MS SQL Server, and Azure Databricks, and transforming this data using SAP BW on HANA to create reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract and transform data from sources such as SAP ERP, S/4 HANA, MS Dynamics Navision, MS SQL Server, and Azure Databricks.
• Use SAP BW on HANA for data transformation and report creation.
• Program routines with ABAP/4 or AMDP.
• Model data using calculation views on the HANA database.
• Participate in the development of the SAP BI landscape during the conversion project to BW/4 HANA.
• Work on projects for implementing new solutions as well as supporting the existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate their requirements into efficient BI solutions.
• Work in an international team, building solutions for European countries and the European Headquarters.

Requirements:

• University degree in computer science or a comparable education and practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with tools for customization and development in SAP BW.
• Experience in modeling and designing reports within SAP BW and SAP Business Objects (Analysis for Office).
• Knowledge of SAP ERP processes and data structures (SD, MM, CO-PA).
• Proficiency in ABAP/4 and SQL programming languages.
• Strong general knowledge of IT technologies.
• Customer-focused and service-oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage.
