We are looking for a DevOps Quality Engineer who operates at the intersection of infrastructure, cloud, and automation, ensuring that every platform release delivers resilience, uptime, and performance.
In this role, you will validate and safeguard deployments across data centres, branch environments, and Azure, combining hands-on testing with automation and non-functional quality assurance.
Your Impact
Test and validate infrastructure and cloud deployments across on-prem and Azure environments.
Verify Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments and perform post-deployment smoke testing.
Identify and investigate reliability, performance, and failover risks before they reach production.
Strengthen platform resilience through automation, regression detection, and quality guardrails.
Act as a quality advocate within DevOps and platform teams.
What You’ll Be Working On
Functional and non-functional testing of infrastructure changes and configuration updates.
Automation scripts and test checklists for platform, network, and security components.
Defect investigation with a focus on uptime, latency, and recovery.
CI/CD pipelines and test tooling within Azure DevOps–centric environments.
Quality input during sprint planning and reviews, highlighting risks tied to infrastructure change.
Assurance aligned to resilience, security, and regulatory expectations.
What We’re Looking For
ISTQB Foundation (Advanced Test Analyst or similar is a plus).
Experience embedding QA practices within DevOps and ITSM-driven environments.
Strong understanding of non-functional testing (performance, resilience, reliability).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD and test tooling: Azure DevOps, Selenium, Cypress, Jenkins, Git, TestRail/Zephyr.
Familiarity with Azure, IaC tools (Terraform / ARM) and scripting.
Understanding of platform metrics such as uptime, latency, and cost performance.
Experience working in Agile, product-aligned teams.
