IT Operations Engineer

For one of our clients a fast growing, technology driven organization operating in a highly regulated environment – we are looking for an IT Operations Engineer who enjoys building reliable internal systems and supporting people behind the scenes.

This role is a great fit for someone who is hands-on, proactive, and takes ownership of internal IT operations, ensuring employees have secure, stable, and efficient access to the tools they need to do their best work.

As an IT Operations Engineer, you will be a key part of the internal IT function, supporting day-to-day operations while continuously improving processes, security, and user experience. You’ll work closely with Platform and Security teams and play an important role in onboarding, provisioning, and maintaining company-wide IT standards.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Providing technical support to employees via ticketing systems, chat, and email (hardware, software, and connectivity issues);
• Provisioning, configuring, and maintaining laptops, desktops, and accessories for new and existing employees;
• Installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting internal systems and applications;
• Managing user and device accounts in Azure AD (Entra), Office 365, email, and VPN services;
• Supporting endpoint management for Windows and macOS, including imaging, patching, and configuration;
• Monitoring and troubleshooting network connectivity to ensure reliability and uptime;
• Collaborating with Platform and Security teams on access, network, and security-related topics;
• Maintaining clear documentation for IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and asset inventory (ITIL or similar frameworks);
• Supporting and enforcing IT security policies and best practices;
• Taking ownership of additional IT-related tasks as the organization grows`;

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in IT operations, system administration, or technical support;
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows and macOS;
• Experience with Azure AD (Entra), Intune, and Office 365 (Exchange, Teams);
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP (IPv4 & IPv6), DNS, DHCP, routing, VPN;
• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or Ubiquiti equipment is a strong plus;
• Good hardware knowledge of endpoint devices and basic networking equipment;
• Familiarity with ITIL or similar methodologies;
• Strong problem-solving mindset and sense of ownership;
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment;
