Senior Software Engineer – Integrations Team

We’re seeking an experienced software engineer to join our Integrations team and take lead on existing and new Cloud Management Platform’s (CMP) integrations. We are looking for someone to focus on HPE Morpheus and K8s but also have the ability and the desire to work on other CMP integrations if and when necessary.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop and maintain seamless integrations between StorPool and various cloud management platforms (i.e. HPE Morpheus, Kubernetes, OpenStack, etc.);
• Develop tools and automation to simplify the deployment and management of StorPool’s storage solutions in various CMP’s environments;
• Contribute to StorPool’s high-performance storage strategy for integrations with various CMPs;
• Contribute to the creation and review of customer-facing documentation and technical guides;
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and optimize deployments;
• Actively contribute to open-source communities, improving upstream projects and driving innovation when needed. Engage in discussions, ask questions, and share knowledge with other cloud management platform’s users and developers.

What We’re Looking For:

• Programming language agnostic person;
• Experience with Java and Python;
• Knowledge (at best experience) with Kubernetes, Libvirt, KVM;
• Familiarity with other open-source virtualization platforms is an advantage;
• Knowledge of Groovy is an advantage;
• Proven experience in leading development initiatives and working collaboratively with other teams (DevOps, Product Management, etc.);
• Strong communication skills for engaging with upstream communities and customers;
• High level of autonomy and dealing with ambiguity;
• Ability to work autonomously, solve complex problems, and drive projects to completion.
