Senior Golang Software Engineer

Our client operates a global ecosystem of retail and IT businesses, including manufacturing, recycling, digital services, and cloud technology solutions. It integrates end-to-end value chains across retail, production, logistics, waste management, and digital infrastructure to support secure, efficient, and sustainable business operations.

The team is building an IaaS/PaaS public cloud within the European Union, which focuses on security, privacy, and compliance with world-class regulations. The solution includes, but is not limited to, database services, VMs, security controls, Data & AI services, and observability.

IF YOU ARE

• Possessing 5+ years of professional IT experience
• Experienced in Golang for 3+ years
• Mastered in microservices development
• Professional with Kubernetes in managing a stable service-oriented solution
• Knowledgeable in microservice architecture and scalable systems
• Confident in writing, testing, integration, and debugging
• Understanding security concepts and enforcing them throughout development
• Skilled in Linux, scripting, and configurations to establish a working environment
• Interested in learning new stuff, e.g., CaC/IaC tools like Ansible and Terraform, Kubernetes operators
• Self-contained, self-disciplined person with good problem-solving skills
• Team player with an active position in a dynamic, remote-oriented agile environment
• Aware of their inner workings: Docker and Kubernetes, cloud databases and data platforms, private clouds (would be a plus)

• Collaborate with cross-functional European teams to define, design, develop, and deliver new features as well as optimize existing code
• Explore, evaluate, and incorporate new technologies into our products and processes to improve development efficiency
• Participate in onsite workshops
• Deliver quality software solutions using an Agile development cycle
• Analyze and resolve performance, stability, and security issues
• Improve automation testing skills
