    About the job Ref011025176SMNA Salesforce Technical Lead

    We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead to drive the design, architecture, and delivery of Service Cloud solutions within a Financial Services Cloud (FSC) instance. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud, a strong understanding of the FSC data model, and the ability to lead development teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions. The Technical Lead will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with business needs.

    Responsibilities

    Leadership & Delivery

    • Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators working on Service Cloud in FSC.
    • Translate business requirements into technical architectures and implementation plans.
    • Provide technical ownership of Service Cloud features (Case Management, Service Console, Omni-Channel, Entitlements, Service Cloud Voice).
    • Ensure Service Cloud configurations and customizations align with FSC data model and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with Salesforce Architects to define scalable solutions, integration strategies, and system design.
    • Oversee end-to-end solution delivery, including requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.

    Architecture & Design

    • Define best practices for Service Cloud development (Apex, LWC, APIs, Flows).
    • Architect and optimize solutions leveraging FSC data objects (Person Accounts, Households, Financial Accounts, Client Relationships, etc.).
    • Lead integration design with banking/insurance/wealth management systems via APIs, middleware (MuleSoft, Informatica, etc.), or event-driven patterns.
    • Ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, and security requirements, including compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and financial regulatory standards.

    Governance & Quality

    • Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and promote reusable components.
    • Establish and oversee CI/CD pipelines (Copado, Gearset, Git, Jenkins).
    • Drive technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.
    • Collaborate with business and QA teams to ensure solutions meet functional and nonfunctional requirements.

    Innovation & Advisory

    • Advise business stakeholders on Service Cloud capabilities and FSC-specific enhancements.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage AI/Einstein, Bots, and Analytics for enhanced service experiences.
    • Stay updated with Salesforce roadmap, new releases, and financial services accelerators, guiding the team in adopting relevant innovations.

    Requirements:

    Technical Expertise

    • 8+ years of Salesforce experience, including at least 3+ years in a Lead/Technical Lead role.
    • Proven expertise in Service Cloud implementations (Case Lifecycle, Omni-Channel, Service Console, Knowledge, Voice, Entitlements, SLAs).
    • Strong experience working with Financial Services Cloud data model.
    • Hands-on expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, API development.
    • Experience with integration architectures (REST/SOAP APIs, Middleware, Streaming, Event-driven).
    • Strong background in Salesforce security, data model design, and performance optimization.

    Certifications (Preferred)

    • Salesforce Platform Developer II.
    • Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant.
    • Salesforce Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional.
    • Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect (nice to have).

    Leadership Skills

    • Experience leading and mentoring onshore/offshore teams.
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
    • Ability to balance hands-on development with leadership responsibilities.
    • Proven track record of delivering large-scale Salesforce Service Cloud projects in financial services.

    Nice to Have

    • Experience with Einstein AI, Service Cloud Voice, Tableau CRM/Analytics.
    • Exposure to multi-cloud Salesforce implementations (Sales, Marketing, Experience Cloud).
    • Prior work in regulated financial environments (Banking, Insurance, Wealth/Asset Management).
