We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Specialist to join our client’s team.

Duration: 6-12 months
Start: January 2026

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

• Increase automated UI regression coverage for critical journeys.
• Reduce manual regression effort and defect leakage in critical flows.
• Improve key KPIs:
  • Pass rate / flakiness rate
  • Average regression execution time
  • Defects found per run (and % in critical areas)
• Structure regression into tiers:
  • Tier 0 – Smoke / Build Verification
  • Tier 1 – Critical Path Regression
  • Tier 2 – Extended / Risk-Based
• Map tests to real business flows (e.g., Scheduling, Patient, Appointment), identify gaps, and build a prioritized regression inventory.
• Implement desktop-specific UI automation strategy:
  • Tooling, framework, and patterns
  • Standards for object recognition and stable locators
• Push logic down to unit/API where possible for lean, stable, maintainable UI coverage.
• Implement Test Impact Analysis (TIA) and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and automate load & performance objectives for critical journeys, including DB performance.
• Use Generative AI to assist in test/script creation with guardrails and human review.
• Maintain clear standards for maintainability and flaky test policy (detect, quarantine, fix/retire).

Requirements:

• Proven experience in UI automation for desktop applications.
• Strong knowledge of regression testing strategies and tiered test structures.
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration and Test Impact Analysis.
• Expertise in performance testing and defining SLAs.
• Understanding of Generative AI applications in test automation.
• Ability to create maintainable frameworks and enforce standards for object recognition and locator stability.
