Senior Full Stack Engineer (PHP & Vue.js)

The product:

Our client, is a leading social media planning and scheduling platform used by global brands and creators. The team is now entering an exciting new growth phase and is rethinking parts of the platform to support scale, performance, and a growing user base.

With a modern PHP + Vue.js/React stack running on AWS, the engineering team is focused on building scalable infrastructure, shipping impactful features, and improving observability across the system.

The role:

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who enjoys building high-quality software and wants to have a lasting impact on product direction, engineering practices, and infrastructure. You’ll join a small but ambitious team and play a key role in defining the technical roadmap while remaining hands-on in delivery.

This is an ideal role for a proactive engineer who thrives in product-driven environments, loves solving technical challenges across the stack, and is comfortable owning features from concept to production.

What you’ll be working on:

● Lead the development of new product features across the stack – from API design to UI

● Write clean, scalable, well-documented code (PHP + Vue.js/React)

● Help shape the technical roadmap and ensure architectural decisions support long-term scalability

● Manage and improve the AWS-based infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.)

● Own the containerisation strategy using Docker (for both local and production)

● Collaborate with Customer Support to diagnose and resolve user-facing issues

● Contribute to internal tools, QA processes, and system monitoring (CloudWatch, NewRelic)

● Promote best practices across the team – CI/CD, code reviews, testing, documentation

What we’re looking for:

● 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer in a product-led environment

● Strong experience with PHP (preferably Symfony or Laravel)

● Solid frontend development skills with Vue.js or React

● Experience working with Linux-based environments and core AWS services

● Comfortable with Docker and containerisation workflows

● Strong understanding of system observability and performance monitoring

● A sense of ownership and a proactive, problem-solving mindset

● Excellent communication skills and eagerness to mentor future team members

Bonus points if you have:

● Experience working in fast-paced startups or small agile teams

● Previous work on CI/CD pipelines or DevOps practices

● Familiarity with message brokers (RabbitMQ, SQS)

● Good eye for UX and product usability
