    Job Description

    We are partnering with a fast-growing healthcare startup to rebuild their mobile application from the ground up. The project involves migrating an existing native app to a new cross-platform solution using React Native, with a focus on scalability, compliance, and long-term maintainability. This is a chance to contribute to a high-impact healthtech product at an early stage, with direct involvement in architecture decisions and close collaboration with the client’s product and engineering leadership.

     

    You will be working with a world-leading digital diagnostics company that leverages Artificial Intelligence and blockchain technology to deliver cutting-edge diagnostics across a wide range of conditions.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Rebuild an existing mobile app using React Native, integrated with the existing backend.
    • Migrate SDKs from native (Java, Swift, Kotlin) into the React Native environment.
    • Collaborate on code reuse and shared business logic across mobile and future web applications.
    • Contribute to the design and integration of WebAssembly and Rust-based modules down the line.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.
    • Participate in agile ceremonies with the product manager and scrum master.
    • Work closely with the client’s technical leadership to refine architecture and ensure compliance.

     

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience building mobile applications with React Native.
    • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
    • Exposure to Swift and/or Kotlin for working with existing native code.
    • Experience integrating SDKs and APIs into mobile apps.
    • Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and cross-platform deployment.
    • Familiarity with agile practices and collaboration in distributed teams.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with product managers and engineers.

     

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience with Rust or WebAssembly.
    • Prior experience in healthtech or regulated industries (with compliance requirements).
    • Experience in greenfield projects, migrating legacy applications, or scaling cross-platform solutions.
