About the role and product

We’re seeking an AI / ML Engineer with Domain Expertise to join our core delivery team and help them build Sirma.AI Enterprise. The platform is an advanced enterprise AI platform that enables organizations to build, deploy, and scale intelligent AI Agents, Teams of Agents, and Agentic Workflows. We combine cutting-edge AI innovation with enterprise-grade security and flexible deployment options, delivering both cloud (SaaS) and on-premise solutions that keep organizations in complete control of their data and AI operations.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring our AI agents deliver accurate, reliable, and valuable results across multiple industries including finance, hospitality, logistics, retail, healthcare, and insurance. This is a hands-on role where you’ll design agent behaviors, optimize performance, implement RAG systems, and ensure AI outputs meet rigorous enterprise standards.

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement AI agents for industry-specific use cases
• Develop advanced prompt strategies and fine-tune agent behavior for accuracy, latency, and cost
• Build multi-agent workflows and RAG architectures
• Create and optimize vector databases, knowledge graphs, and document-processing pipelines
• Integrate data from multiple sources (databases, files, APIs, external systems)
• Evaluate LLM providers, implement model-routing strategies, and configure local/on-prem models
• Build hybrid cloud/local AI architectures with monitoring, testing, and fallback mechanisms
• Establish evaluation metrics, testing frameworks, and A/B experiments
• Monitor production agents and drive continuous improvements
• Ensure output quality, compliance, and alignment with industry regulations
• Translate industry requirements into technical designs and domain-specific datasets
• Adapt and specialize LLMs for business-specific contexts

Role’s requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs and generative AI
• Strong proficiency with OpenAI GPT models, Claude, or Gemini models
• Production experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and semantic search
• Skilled in prompt engineering, agent optimization, and Python (including ML/AI libraries)
• Experience with LangChain/LlamaIndex, FastAPI, Jupyter, and ML workflow tools (e.g., MLflow, W&B)
• Solid SQL, database design, and ETL/data pipeline knowledge
• Familiarity with document processing/OCR, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and production AI deployments
• Understanding of enterprise security, data privacy, model versioning, and responsible AI practices
• Proactive, self-driven and analytical skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address data-related challenges
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Excellent verbal and written English
