Responsible for creating and maintaining the product backlog, which is a list of tasks, requirements, and features that need to be completed. Prioritizing the items in the backlog so that the most important and valuable features are implemented first. Collaborate with other stakeholders in the project – product managers, designers, technical team leaders – to clearly describe and understand the requirements for the developed functionalities.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Maintaining the product backlog – writing new tasks and updating existing ones to reach a state in which they can be taken for development
Prioritising backlog tasks
Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical requirements and specifications for new features and improvements
Collaborate with team leaders in order to estimate stories
Collaborate with PM’s to define stories
Track and assess business outcomes to ensure value delivery aligns with organizational goals.
Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and implement improvements.
Contributes to improve software development processes
Update related documentation
Active communication and participation in meetings and discussions about improvements and innovations.
Collaborate and assist team members to complete operational tasks
Key Attributes:
Experience as s Product owner or similar position – minimum 3 years.
Ability to work independently
Very good skills for working together with members of different teams in the company
Fluency in Bulgarian and English at a working level.
Adaptability to a changing environment – new projects, tasks, requirements
Good understanding of agile software development methodologies
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
Strong leadership and communication skills
Additional requirements to the position:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or course.
Knowledge in PHP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases.
Skills in working with version control systems – Git
Knowledge of foreign languages: Proficiency in English at least level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
