The impact you will create:

• As a key member of our SAP Security tools operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational execution, technical maintenance, and functional support of the central SAP Security Platform and Monitoring tools. You will ensure the stability and effectiveness of the security tools and act as a technical contact for operational tasks.
• Operational Management & Execution: You perform the hands-on operational execution, configuration adjustments, and routine maintenance of the centralized SAP security monitoring and alerting platform. This includes managing the smooth data flow and integration between SAP systems, Splunk, and Security Bridge.
• Monitoring & Incident Support: You actively monitor security alerts and dashboards, execute the first-level incident response procedures, and provide technical support for resolving identified threats and vulnerabilities in close coordination with senior team members.
• Technical Coordination: You work closely with the SAP Basis team and the Cyber Security department on technical operational alignment, coordinate minor maintenance activities with external service providers, and document configuration changes.
• Platform Stability & Quality: You contribute to ensuring the stability, performance, and data quality of the security monitoring infrastructure and assist in the quality assurance of monitoring dashboards and alert definitions.

Experience and skills you will need:

• Experience in Operations: You possess initial professional experience (1-3 years) or relevant training/internship experience in SAP Basis, technical SAP Security, or operational monitoring, ideally in a corporate environment.
• Teamwork & Execution: You are a motivated team player with a strong focus on execution and structured work. Experience with ITIL processes or operational ticketing systems is a plus.
• Technical Know-how (Focus): Basic to solid knowledge of technical SAP systems and security concepts is required. Initial hands-on experience or a strong willingness to learn the operational management of Splunk integration with SAP and knowledge of SAP Security Bridge are highly advantageous.
• Education & Communication: You have successfully completed a relevant IT-focused education (apprenticeship, vocational training, or Bachelor’s degree). You can articulate technical operational status and issues clearly to technical teams.
• Languages: You are fluent in English (written and spoken). German is a plus.
