The impact You will create:

• Develop and deploy innovative, scalable, and secure analytical data products and MLOps architectures, taking them from proof-of-concept through to robust production systems.
• Engineer and manage resilient Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines (ideally Azure DevOps), setting new standards for efficient and high-quality software delivery.
• Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring, observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry), and security solutions (SAST/SCA, GDPR/AI Act compliance) for AI applications.
• Translate complex AI product requirements into well-tested, maintainable software solutions using your extensive Python and software engineering expertise.
• Collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary agile teams, working alongside data scientists, data engineers, and product owners to bring AI projects to life.
• Act as a coach and mentor, sharing your deep technical knowledge, fostering a culture of high code quality, and guiding teammates in solving complex challenges.

Experience and skills you will need:

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of profound experience in software development with Python, building scalable and testable applications.
• Expertise in CI/CD (Azure DevOps preferred), Infrastructure as Code, containerization (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (GCP ideally), coupled with strong Git and shell scripting skills.
• Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing MLOps strategies, commissioning AI projects, and building/maintaining data pipelines (e.g., Airflow).
• High standards for code quality (Ruff, Mypy, Unit/Integration/E2E testing) and a solid understanding of IT security (GDPR, AI Act, OAuth2) and SAST/SCA tools (SonarQube, Snyk).
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken), a collaborative team-player mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive curiosity for new technologies; German language skills are an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and ideally, familiarity with frontend development in Vue.js
