Our organization

The vision for our organization is to provide a unified data management layer to connect, discover, orchestrate and manage data assets. The organization enables analytical, intelligent and data-driven capabilities across the SAP Intelligent Enterprise by automatically providing actionable insights within business processes.

Our team enables this by focusing on topics such as the Infrastructure Cloud Monitoring, using Grafana, Dynatrace and ELK, Hana integration as well as developing mission-critical Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry backing services that provide integration points between different Lines of Business

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Python, or Go.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in the management and optimization of Kubernetes clusters, if applicable.
• Contribute to process automation to enhance efficiency and system reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and production environments.
• Engage with observability practices as needed, leveraging tools such as ELK or Dynatrace where relevant.

What you bring:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in software development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with multiple programming languages is an advantage.
• Prior DevOps experience, particularly with Kubernetes, is a plus but not required.

Tech you bring:

• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, or Go.
• Familiarity with or interest in Kubernetes and its application in deployment and scalability
• Exposure to observability tools such as ELK or Dynatrace is a plus
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes is a bonus.
• Understanding of scripting and automation using Bash or Python
• General experience or curiosity about Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is appreciated.

You’ll join a highly motivated team that works on both development and DevOps projects, leveraging a wide range of programming languages such as Java, Go, Python, and more. We are actively engaged with DevOps and CI/CD tools, including Jenkins and Kubernetes as well as others to build robust automation solutions. Additionally, we work with platforms like Cloud Foundry and Kyma to enhance our capabilities. Our team is dedicated to utilizing the latest technologies and tackling the most mission-critical projects within the company, ensuring our work has a significant impact!
