QA Automation Engineer

We are looking to hire Mid Level QA Automation Engineer for our retail software application development. The engineers will be instrumental in the definition, implementation, and execution of test automation strategy for our flagship retail product suite. They will write and execute automated and manual integration tests on our software releases. They will be responsible for the installation, set-up, and administration of automation testing platforms and tools. We are looking for candidates with 3+ years of related test automation experience.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the other team members (Product Owner, Software Engineers, and Quality Engineers) to create test plans and test cases according to the work item acceptance criteria
• Design, build, develop and execute automated tests using out test automation framework
• Create test plans for manual execution and automation scope in collaboration with team members and business partners to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Analyze test results and create test reports subsequently communicating reports to various stakeholders
• Actively participate in team discussions, design workshops, Release/Sprint Planning, Sprint Demos, Sprint Retrospectives
• Research and resolve issues or provide possible solutions
• Participate in code reviews to track, analyze and resolve defects
• Collaborate with the research of techniques and tools related to software testing

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working as Test Automation Engineer
• Working experience of C#, T-SQL, API and UI automation testing
• Knowledge of full system development life cycle
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, ability to determine and resolve root causes, experience debugging code
• Good command of English
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Any previous experience testing applications written in WPF or Windows forms would be an asset
• Any previous experience with Robot Framework for test automation would be an asset
