For one of our clients, we are looking for Senior PHP Developer with German (REМOTE).

YOUR ROLE

As a (Senior) PHP Developer, you actively shape modern web projects.

You are given the freedom to introduce new technologies and contribute your own ideas. In addition to classic development tasks, you take on responsibility and, with your focus on high-quality solutions, help improve our system landscape.

• You develop and maintain high-performance PHP applications and web services

• You design and implement new features, interfaces (REST, SOAP, JSON), and solutions

• You optimize processes, databases (MySQL/MariaDB), and legacy systems

• You implement middleware, cron jobs, as well as import and export processes

• You ensure code quality through linting, automated workflows, and tests

• You plan, test, and take responsibility for rollouts, upgrades, and their stability

• You work closely with design, frontend, and customer teams

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a strong command of PHP (OOP), ideally with frameworks such as Symfony

• You have several years of experience in backend development

• You have good German language skills

• You are a team player, communicative, and able to work independently

• You enjoy sharing your knowledge and exploring new paths together with the team

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with TYPO3, headless CMS (Directus, Strapi), or flat-file CMS (Grav, Statamic)

• Interest in conferences and community activities

• An open-source mindset and a willingness to contribute to projects

• Familiarity with modern tools such as Docker/ddev, Composer, or GitLab CI
