About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Regular Automation QA Engineer with Python + SQL.

What You’ll Do:

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Create detailed test plans based on requirements and data mapping documents
• Prepare test data and oversee the readiness of test environments
• Perform functional and non-functional testing and analyse test results
• Create and update test artifacts (Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Status)
• Develop/Enhance, support, troubleshoot and resolve issues with current test automation frameworks and test scripts
• Research and present proof-of-concept for future test-automation design/frameworks
• Experience with agile methodologies, continuous integration, and the full SDLC
• Manage acquisition, preparation, and documentation of test data
• Ability to problem solve, design and apply creativity to various software problems

What You Bring

• 3+ years of Test Automation Development experience with open source and market-leading vendor solutions, creating functional and regression tests
• 3+ years of direct software development experience in Python
• Experience working with any enterprise database and advanced SQL knowledge
• Experience working with big data platform
• Experience with SQL Developer, DBeaver or any similar tool
• Experience using UNIX commands and vi editor
• Experience in any standard test frameworks (like Junit, TestNG, pytest, unittest etc.)
• Experience in Continuous Integration tools (eg Github Actions)
• Experience with AWS or Azure, Jenkins
• Source Code Management Tools (eg Github)
