Our client, a dynamic fintech company committed to empowering businesses of all sizes through simplified payment solutions, is seeking a Data Engineer to contribute to building scalable data pipelines and supporting data-driven decision-making.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Splunk Engineer to support one of our clients in scaling their monitoring and log management capabilities. This role is key to ensuring observability and operational insights across modern infrastructure environments. You’ll work closely with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams to maintain and optimize Splunk usage across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and configure Splunk components (indexers, search heads, forwarders)
• Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports to support ops and security teams
• Onboard and normalize logs from various sources using SPL, parsing, and field extraction
• Assist with detection use cases, logging standards, and incident investigations
• Troubleshoot performance issues and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• 1+ year of hands-on experience with Splunk (Enterprise or Cloud)
• Good knowledge of SPL and dashboard creation
• Understanding of Splunk architecture (distributed/clustered setups)
• Experience with log ingestion and data normalization
• Familiarity with SIEM practices and system observability

Nice to Have

• Splunk certifications (Power User, Admin, Architect)
• Scripting with Python, Bash, or similar
• Experience integrating Splunk with external tools or platforms
• Background in infrastructure or security operations
