Your Role

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building internal tools and systems from the ground up. You’ll work closely with Embedded and Cloud engineers across multiple teams, helping them streamline workflows by building scalable, reliable, and user-focused backend solutions. This is an end-to-end role where you’ll take ownership from ideation to implementation and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build scalable backend tools and services to support engineering workflows

Collaborate with Embedded and Cloud development teams to understand challenges and propose solutions

Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code (primarily in Python)

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and internal platforms

Participate in system architecture design and contribute across the full development lifecycle

Drive new technical initiatives and see them through to production

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer focused on backend development

Experience with web application backends and REST API design

Willingness to work with Python and continuously improve your skills (Python experience is a plus)

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for building internal tools

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is preferred
