About the Company

Responsibilities:
Manage database installs, upgrades, patching, security, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Implement and optimize backup, recovery, and high availability strategies.
Support query optimization, database health checks, and scaling initiatives.
Collaborate with application and data engineering teams on database design, performance, and impact analysis.
Maintain and monitor ClickHouse and ScyllaDB clusters for analytical and transactional workloads.
Automate deployments, capacity planning, and operational tasks.
Participate in 24×7 support rotations, including nights/weekends as needed.
Requirements:
2+ years of hands-on PostgreSQL administration.
Strong SQL and query optimization skills.
Experience with replication topologies (logical & physical).
Proficiency with PostgreSQL tools (barman, pgbackrest, wal-e/wal-g).
Solid Linux knowledge (storage, filesystems, Bash scripting).
Experience with ClickHouse/ScyllaDB is a strong plus.
