About the Role 

Our client is a growing fintech company focused on building high-reliability, scalable trading and investment infrastructure. Their clients include large public companies seeking a robust suite of wealth management, trading, and compliance solutions to manage stock compensation, such as RSUs, ESPPs, and stock options. Backed by leading investors, including Crosslink Capital and Founders Fund, as well as former executives from top-tier companies, they are expanding their global team. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to join their local Bulgarian team while collaborating closely with their US-based counterparts.

 Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of feature development, including requirement gathering, implementation, code reviews, and comprehensive unit and integration testing.
• Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement scalable web services, APIs, and applications.
• Partner closely with product management and design teams to define feature requirements and deliver solutions that enhance business impact and improve customer experiences.

 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with expertise in technologies such as Node.js, Typescript, React/Next.js, Cypress, SQL databases (Postgres), and AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Proven track record of working on high-reliability, mission-critical systems (experience in finance, trading, gambling, healthcare, or similar fields is a significant advantage).
• Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining thorough testing practices in a team that values reliability and precision.
• Excellent communication skills, combined with curiosity, collaboration, humility, and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Availability for occasional evening meetings with US-based team members.
