About the Company

For our client — a global iGaming technology company — we’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their growing data organization.

The company develops online gaming platforms at scale and relies heavily on robust data pipelines, analytics, and AI-driven solutions to support business-critical systems.

The Role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll design and evolve high-performance data pipelines and architectures, supporting analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives in a high-volume, production environment.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and architectures
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across multiple systems
• Optimize ETL processes for scalability and performance
• Work closely with Data Scientists and Analysts on ML and AI use cases
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and management
• Evaluate and introduce new data technologies and tools
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or similar roles
• Strong expertise in SQL and Python
• Solid understanding of data architectures, ETL, and performance tuning
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Background in high-volume / streaming data environments
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with ML workflows and feature engineering
• Familiarity with Airflow, Prefect, or similar orchestration tools
• Experience with PostgreSQL or large-scale relational databases
