Responsibilities
Lead a team of highly skilled professionals with a servant-leadership approach
Mentor and support team members in following Java best practices and coding standards
Define roles, assign tasks, and monitor progress
Design, develop, and maintain solution components aligned with business needs and technology best practices
Perform code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and security
Collaborate with the testing team to uphold high software standards
Troubleshoot and conduct technical analyses to enhance system performance and availability
Proactively identify and drive process or technical improvements
Maintain up-to-date technical documentation
Work effectively with cross-functional teams
Provide regular updates on task progress, risks, and challenges
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field
At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product-focused role
Experience or strong interest in regulatory/compliance-driven industries (e.g., gambling, finance, regulated markets)
Strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle
Proven experience collaborating with Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams
Knowledge of risk mitigation strategies and escalation procedures
Solid grasp of Agile principles and methodologies
Highly proactive, organized, and able to manage complex or sensitive tasks across multiple teams
Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and client-facing
Fluency in English, both spoken and written
Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO, etc.) is a plus
