    Responsibilities

    • Lead a team of highly skilled professionals with a servant-leadership approach
    • Mentor and support team members in following Java best practices and coding standards
    • Define roles, assign tasks, and monitor progress
    • Design, develop, and maintain solution components aligned with business needs and technology best practices
    • Perform code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and security
    • Collaborate with the testing team to uphold high software standards
    • Troubleshoot and conduct technical analyses to enhance system performance and availability
    • Proactively identify and drive process or technical improvements
    • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation
    • Work effectively with cross-functional teams
    • Provide regular updates on task progress, risks, and challenges

     

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field
    • At least 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product-focused role
    • Experience or strong interest in regulatory/compliance-driven industries (e.g., gambling, finance, regulated markets)
    • Strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle
    • Proven experience collaborating with Compliance, Legal, and Operations teams
    • Knowledge of risk mitigation strategies and escalation procedures
    • Solid grasp of Agile principles and methodologies
    • Highly proactive, organized, and able to manage complex or sensitive tasks across multiple teams
    • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and client-facing
    • Fluency in English, both spoken and written
    • Product Owner certification (CSPO, PSPO, etc.) is a plus
