We’re looking for a Principal Performance Engineer to own the end-to-end performance strategy of a high-traffic, real-time platform.
This is a hands-on and strategic role focused on system stability, scalability, and low-latency performance across gaming and payment services.
What you’ll do
Define and lead performance testing strategies (load, stress, scalability, endurance, capacity)
Execute tests using JMeter, Gatling, k6, or similar tools
Analyze latency, throughput, and scalability bottlenecks
Produce clear performance reports with actionable recommendations
Work closely with Dev, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams
Optimize backend code, databases, test scripts, and infrastructure
Improve observability via Grafana, Prometheus, ELK
Define performance benchmarks, KPIs, and system health metrics
Assess third-party integrations (payments, games) for performance risks
Document performance strategies and remediation plans
Mentor teams on performance engineering best practices
What we’re looking for
5+ years experience in performance and automation testing
Strong hands-on experience with JMeter, Gatling, k6, or similar
Programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript
Experience with APM tools (Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics) is a plus
Solid knowledge of SQL and database optimization
Hands-on with Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk, or similar
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly
Leadership mindset with mentoring experience
