About the Role

We are hiring a Lead DevOps Engineer on behalf of a trusted client. Take the lead in designing, deploying, and operating development and production environments. This role combines deep hands-on infrastructure work with team leadership and mentorship. You’ll focus on automation, observability, and cloud infrastructure—ensuring high system reliability in a fast-paced, complex domain.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience managing cloud infrastructure, with a strong preference for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI); familiarity with AWS or GCP is also valued.
• Proficient in automation and scripting, using tools such as Bash, Python, or Groovy, alongside configuration management systems.
• Solid understanding of Linux-based systems, networking fundamentals, and virtualization technologies like QEMU and KVM.
• Hands-on experience administering and maintaining database infrastructure, particularly Oracle databases.
• Expertise in container orchestration using Kubernetes, and in building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines—ideally with Jenkins.
• Familiarity with application servers such as Apache, Tomcat, and Java-based runtime environments (JVM).
• Comfortable working with monitoring and logging tools/APIs, including ELK Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, and Slack integrations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience mentoring and guiding DevOps or infrastructure engineering teams.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Atlassian tools, including JIRA and Confluence.
• Background in database performance tuning, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Understanding of telemetry, observability best practices, and modern system health insights.
