Our client is an innovative tech leader reshaping the iGaming industry. As part of their continued growth, they are expanding the Platform & Payments Department and seeking an experienced automation professional to help drive their next phase of technical excellence.
About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Automation QA Engineer to join the Platform & Payments Department. You’ll lead the company’s automation vision — designing scalable frameworks, driving cross-team QA maturity, and integrating automated testing throughout the development lifecycle. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership position with direct impact on software quality, speed, and stability.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive the company-wide automation strategy across multiple teams
Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks in C#/.NET using SpecFlow (Reqnroll), NUnit, and Playwright (or Selenium)
Develop robust API test suites using RestSharp, with a focus on contract-based and data-driven testing
Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
Mentor QA and development teams on best practices, reusable code patterns, and scalable test architecture
Define and report on automation KPIs, test reliability, and flakiness metrics
Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Architecture teams to embed quality early in the SDLC
Enforce clean, reusable coding standards and oversee test governance across squads
Your Background
10+ years in software QA, including 5+ years in automation framework design using C#/.NET
3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role
Proficiency with SpecFlow (Reqnroll), NUnit, Playwright/Selenium, and REST/GraphQL API testing
Solid experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
Familiar with reporting tools such as Allure or ReportPortal
Proven ability to set QA standards, lead test governance, and scale best practices
Agile mindset with hands-on experience in Scrum, Kanban, shift-left testing, feature flags, and trunk-based development
