Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to take ownership of critical database systems, including both analytical and transactional workloads. The ideal candidate is proactive, performance-oriented, and capable of optimizing and maintaining data infrastructure in high-demand environments.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience administering PostgreSQL
Strong knowledge of SQL and query optimization techniques
Familiarity with replication models (logical and physical)
Proficiency in PL/pgSQL and writing stored procedures
Experience with tools like pgBackRest, barman, or wal-e/g
Solid understanding of Linux-based environments and shell scripting (Bash)
Familiarity with ClickHouse and ScyllaDB is a strong advantage
Ability to work in dynamic, high-volume production environments
