About the Company

Our client, a dynamic fintech company committed to empowering businesses of all sizes through simplified payment solutions, is seeking a Performance Engineer to ensure companies systems are scalable, reliable, and optimized for high performance.

Role Overview:

You’ll be responsible for performance testing, system analysis, and architecture tuning to support smooth operations across complex payment platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute load, stress, and scalability tests using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or Neoload.
• Identify and resolve system bottlenecks and performance issues through metrics analysis.
• Optimize application performance (code, database queries, infrastructure tuning).
• Set up and maintain real-time monitoring dashboards (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Splunk).
• Work closely with development and architecture teams to ensure systems are scalable.
• Define KPIs and regularly validate performance benchmarks.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).

Tech Stack & Requirements:

• 5+ years in performance/automation testing.
• Experience with tools: JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, OctoPerf, etc.
• Programming/scripting skills: Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Strong SQL and query optimization experience.
• Familiarity with monitoring platforms: Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).

Bonus Points:

• Relevant certifications (e.g. cloud, performance tools).
• Experience diagnosing system latency, I/O issues, and optimizing microservices.
