About the Role

We are hiring a Lead DevOps Engineer on behalf of a trusted client. Take the lead in designing, deploying, and operating development and production environments. This role combines deep hands-on infrastructure work with team leadership and mentorship. You’ll focus on automation, observability, and cloud infrastructure—ensuring high system reliability in a fast-paced, complex domain.

What We are Looking For

• Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably OCI (AWS/GCP also welcome)
• Strong automation skills with scripting (Bash, Python, Groovy) and config management tools
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and virtualization (QEMU, KVM)
• Experience managing database infrastructure, especially Oracle
• Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Familiarity with application servers like Apache, Tomcat, and JVM-based environments
• Proficient in monitoring/logging tools and APIs (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Slack API)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Experience mentoring DevOps/infrastructure teams

Nice To Have

• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience in database optimization and recovery
• Understanding of telemetry and modern observability practices
