About the Company

Join a fintech team that’s building data platforms to power smart investment decisions. We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer who thrives in BI environments, loves clean pipelines, and knows Oracle inside-out.

Role Highlights

You’ll lead infrastructure initiatives across cloud (primarily Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), CI/CD, automation, and observability. The role blends deep technical responsibility with team leadership and collaboration across engineering and operations.

What You’ll Work On

• Leading and mentoring a DevOps team, driving consistent delivery and upskilling
• Managing hybrid infrastructure on OCI (or AWS/GCP), Linux systems, and containers
• Automating infrastructure and provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (Bash, Python)
• Maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab), and managing Kubernetes clusters
• Ensuring observability and system insight via ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry
• Troubleshooting infrastructure issues and ensuring high availability
• Collaborating across teams to align on scalability, security, and uptime
• Participating in an on-call rotation when needed

Requirements

• Strong experience with OCI or similar cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
• Deep Linux expertise and familiarity with virtualization (KVM, QEMU)
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
• Proficient with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
• CI/CD pipeline management (Jenkins, Git/GitLab)
• Observability tools and practices (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Scripting skills (Bash, Python, Groovy)
• Leadership experience in DevOps or infrastructure teams
• Excellent communication and problem-solving mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience with Oracle DB infrastructure
• Familiarity with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
• Understanding of telemetry and recovery strategies
