Scope of the Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Database Administrator ready to build a solid foundation in database administration. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals on real client projects while receiving comprehensive training and mentorship.

What You’ll Do:

Support installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of Microsoft SQL Server environments (on-premises and Azure SQL)
Monitor database performance, analyze queries, and assist with index optimization and configuration tuning
Participate in security implementations, backup strategies, and recovery procedures
Learn to build high-availability solutions including AlwaysOn, log shipping, and replication
Contribute to real client projects in Bulgaria and Norway as part of a team led by Microsoft MVPs

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of SQL Server or other relational database systems
Foundational experience with T-SQL, database administration, or relevant coursework (university or professional training)
Genuine interest in database administration and strong motivation to develop as a DBA
Detail-oriented approach with structured thinking and strong sense of responsibility
Working-level English for technical documentation and communication
